Introducing the Day Tote and Mini Zip Pouch in the Kaleidoscope colorway!

In moving away from only making bike bags, I wanted to be able to explore things creatively. The Kaleidoscope colorway came from wanting to experiment with tie dye. After dyeing the canvas fabric, the Day Tote and Mini Zip Pouch came about to showcase the dyed fabric.

The Day Tote is a mixture of tie dyed canvas fabric and Xpac or EcoPak (depending on color) with an Ecopak EPLX200 liner, and is the essential everyday bag for carrying your stuff. The color of the Xpac or EcoPak bottom was matched with what complimented the tie dyed fabric portion the best. Simple, and classic but with modern touches.

The Mini Zip Pouch can stow and organize any small items. Great for cards, keys, bike tools or whatever else you need. Comes fully lined in Ecopak EPLX200.

Because of the nature of the tie dye, each bag is different and unique and what you see in the photo might be different than what you receive.

Introducing the Bottle Sling! This is our collaboration with our friend Rai of @deathlesscoffee. The Bottle Sling came out of Rai’s mantra to ‘stay hydrated’. We designed the Bottle Sling to do just that. A simple way to carry around your water bottle and other small essentials. Wear it cross body or hold it with the adjustable hand strap. It can accommodate bottles up to 32oz. Never be without your water bottle ever again.
Rai and I have known each other for years through bikes and working at the same coffee shop for a period of time. For the past 3 years Rai has been building and fostering a community around his plant based coffee pop up Deathless Coffee and is working on opening a permanent shop here in San Francisco.

Part of this new era of Tunitas is to have more collaborations to showcase my friends who are also designers/ artists/ creatives or just a part of our local community.

Last day to preorder a Sling Bag! Don’t sleep!

This week is the last week to place a pre order for a Sling Bag. The pre order window ends this Friday May 12th and bags will ship out by the end of June.

With this new era of Tunitas, when making new items, I plan on making a batch of the product and selling through it. Once sold through, if there’s enough demand, I’ll make another batch of them. If there's not enough demand, then that’s it, it won’t be coming back.

For the Sling Bags, I probably make a couple extra when fulfilling the orders, but if you want to ensure you get one, definitely get in on the pre order. ✌🏼

Got a little creative today with the straps on the Basket Tote 137! Had to transport a bike stand across town and didn’t have a bungee cord to secure the rack down. So I crossed the Basket Tote’s straps to clip to the opposite D-ring to not only secure the bag to the basket but also strap down the rack.
This is what I love about having the straps be the bag’s attachment points to the basket! It’s versatile, looks clean and works well. (Plus no extra straps and buckles hanging around when you’re off the bike! So you can be a bike person without always having to look like a bike person 😉)
